Little House For Little People

Mrs. Susie Sturdivant, Director

I would like to thank you for enrolling your child in the Little House for Little People Early Learning Center. We offer a loving environment that promotes educational learning and social growth. We will accomplish this through a curriculum designed to enhance your child’s learning ability.

I am pleased to share that this year our program was awarded a First Class Pre-K grant to implement high-quality early childhood education and care to 18, 4-year old children! Classrooms are funded through a grant process in which sites must meet specific quality assurances and abide by rigorous operating guidelines. Alabama’s First Class Pre-K program has been awarded the highest quality rating by the National Institute for Early Education Research (NIEER) for 14 consecutive years! Our Early Learning Center was one, of less than 60 programs, to receive this funding. We are thrilled to be able to offer such a high-quality program for our students and families.

L.H.F.L.P is licensed through the State of Alabama Department of Human Resources. Our staff is professionally trained, skilled in Infant-Child CPR and First Aid, cleared by the Alabama Bureau of Investigation (ABI) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), as well as the Child Abuse/Neglect clearinghouse. Our team is fully capable of meeting the educational needs of your child and the professional needs expected by your family.

In addition to high-quality services, we also provide daily nutritious meals and snacks for our little ones. Our facility is monitored by the Jefferson County Health Department.

As a team, we will work to make sure your child receives the best of everything because your child is our number our priority. Remember, the red carpet is always out at Little House for Little People where “Children Are Royalty.”

Sincerely,

Mrs. Susie Sturdivant
